I awoke the morning of this shoot to the soothing sound of rain on tapping on my window. My first thought was ‘Arhhh how relaxing’ followed by ‘ARGHHHHH I have a swim shoot today’!!!! Just so you know it NEVER rains in Townsville…NEVER! So while everyone else was super excited, I was mildly panicking! I texted my partner-in-crime/photographer genius Annaleise who calmed me down and assured me she knew how to shoot in the rain (so now i was just intrigued!). By 9am the rain cleared and we were left with gorgeous, soft box lighting and steamy tropical temperatures. Perfect conditions for a swimwear shoot! It was so much fun shooting these stunning pieces! Whenever I go shopping with a client, one of the first things I get them to do is make a list of all the activities they do week to week. That way we know what we’re dressing for and can select outfits that rise to the occasion.
